Tanks are driven by a physics engine and include gears, rev counters and speedometers, while brake levers control their steering to create convincing tracked-vehicle movement. Every bullet, shell and fragment of shrapnel is rendered in 3D and bounces realistically from angled surfaces. You can view each infantryman’s rank, name, weapon, remaining ammunition, heart rate and fatigue. When machine gunners are low on ammunition, they will request more, and squadmates carrying spare rounds will hurry to resupply them. Injured soldiers call for medics, who rush over to provide first aid. Off-board artillery support is available, though it must fire several ranging rounds before the complete eight-gun battery begins firing together.
